Theological Triage: Know What Hills to Die On!

Christians don’t agree and we’re not surprised. In a world of personal opinions, varying faith traditions, passionate concern over heresy and the nuanced reality of doctrinal differences, what are we to do? What are we to believe? This class will seek to tackle these questions and more as we navigate the rich history of the EFCA and our ethos of firmly standing on the explicit teaching of the Scriptures and extending grace to well-meaning faithful followers of Christ who come to different conclusions.  

We’ll walk through our EFCA confession of faith seeking clarity on what we believe as a denomination and local church. Our aim will be to know how to properly discern what is truly heretical, what should be defended, and what we can agree to disagree on with brothers and sisters in Christ.
